David Evertson, DVM - Owner

Dr. Evertson received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1994.  He also has a bachelors degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming in 1990.  Dr. Evertson enjoys large animal practice and particularily has an interest in Equine reproduction and dentistry.

Dana Petersen, DVM - Owner

Dr. Petersen received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1997.  She also has a bachelors degree in Animal Science from KSU in 1995.  Her husband, Dr. David Evertson, and Dr. Pertersen both own Alpine Animal Hospital.  They have three sons: Dawson, Devon, and Dax.  They have a border collie named Rigby, two horses: Belle and Bonnie, and 2 cats.  In her free time Dr. Petersen enjoys quilting, scrapbooking, and reading.  Her professional interests are small animal soft tissue surgery, puppy training, and rehabilitation/physical therapy.

Laura Halpin, BVetMed MRCVS - Associate

Dr. Halpin is a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, England. She is originally from Wales but has traveled extensively, leading her to live throughout America. She is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine and the human-animal bond. Dr. Halpin's family includes an exuberant 4-year-old Goldendoodle called Lucy. Lucy recently became a Canine Good Citizen and is currently training to be a Pet Therapy dog. In her free time, Dr. Halpin enjoys traveling, golf, skiing, horse-riding and mountain-biking.

Kelly Monahan, MVB - Associate

Dr. Monahan received her veterinary degree from the University of Dublin in 2010 and a BA of Science in Anthropology/Zoology from the University of Michigan in 2005. Dr. Monahan enjoys reading, crafting, skiing, snowboarding, all water sports and almost all outdoor activities. She grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, where her parents still call home. She has 3 sisters who are currently scattered between CA, MI and OH. Dr. Monahan has 2 dogs, Cypress and Jack, and 2 cats, Kona and Azuki. Her professional interests include small animal medicine and surgery.

Madelynn Fell, DVM - Associate

Dr. Fell received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2010 and her Bachelors degree of Biotechnology Animal Systems from Montana State University in 2006. She enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, horseback riding, country swing dancing, traveling, fishing and taekwondo. Dr. Fell grew up in Big Sky, MT with her parents and younger brother. She had multiple dogs and horses growing up and often accompanied her dad on pack trips. After she graduated from vet school she traveled to New Zealand and worked at a mixed animal clinic for 4 months and traveled the islands. She now lives in Laramie with her dog, Maverick. Her professional interests include large and small animal surgery as well as alternative medicine, such as accupuncture.
