The Appaloosa is recognizable by the colorful spots that appear on either part of, or the entirety of its coat. They also commonly have a white sclera surrounding their eyes and striped hooves. This breed is very versatile and can be used in a number of disciplines, including but not limited to: racing, cattle work, dressage, jumping, endurance rides, family horse, and more.
