This breed is one of the most popular pony breeds across the globe. It stands on average at 9.3 hands. While they are primarily a pasture pet, some ponies compete in weight-pulling events to show off their short muscular legs. Historically, these ponies were used to pull small freight, such as fertilizer for fields and materials for building cottages.
